    its easy

    2x+11=5+4x

    2x-4x=5-11

    -2x= -6

    x= -6/-2

    x= 3

    2x + 11 = 5 + 4x

    2x + 11 = 4x + 5

    - 4x + 2x = - 11 + 5

    - 2x = - 6

    - 2x / -2 = -6 / -2

    x = 3

    Checking : Substitute the value of " x "

    2x + 11 = 5 + 4x

    2 ( 3 ) + 11 = 5 + 4 ( 3 )

    6 + 11 = 5 + 12

    17 = 17 ( both sides are the same, it means value of " x " is correct )

    My Answer :

    x = 3

    2x + 11 = 5 + 4x

    now, we subtract 2x on both sides

    (2x - 2x) + 11 = 5 + (4x - 2x)

    => 11 = 5 + 2x

    now, subtract 5 on both sides

    11-5 = 5-5 + 2x

    => 6 = 2x

    divide 2 on both sides

    6/2 = 2x/2

    => 3 = x

    hence, x = 3.

    Just for confirmation, we put the value of x in the given equation

    LHS = 2*3 + 11 = 6 + 11 = 17

    RHS = 5 + 4*3 = 5 + 12 = 17

    Hence, it is true.

    2x + 11 = 5 + 4x

    2x - 4x = 5 - 11

    - 2x = - 6

    x = 3.

    You have to put the X values to one side of the equation and the integers (normal numbers) onto the other side, remember when you change the sides the plus changes to a minus and vice versa. So

    2x+11=5+4x becomes 2x-4x=5-11 so -2x= -6 so X=3 is your answer. Hope I helped.

    2x + 11 = 5 + 4x

    -2x -2x

    11=5+2x

    -5 -5

    6=2x

    /2 /2

    3=x

    2x+11=5+4x

    2x-2x+11-5=5-5+4x-2x

    6=2x

    3=x

    That you may begin via simplifying the equation. 3(4x-5) = (three * 4x) - (3 * 5) = 12x - 15 2(2x-2) = (2 * 2x) - (2 * 2) = 4x - 4 4(3x-2) + 5 = [(4 * 3x) - (4 * 2)] + 5 = 12x - eight + 5 = 12x - 3 So, 12x - 15 - 4x + four = 12x - 3 workforce like phrases. Watch out of signs. 12x - 4x = 8x -15 + 4 = -eleven So, 8x - 11 = 12x -three Isolate the x on one part of the equation. If we isolate the x on the right, first we add 3 to both sides. This gives us: 8x - eight = 12x subsequent, we subtract 8x from either side. This offers us: -eight = 4x Now, divide every aspect through four in an effort to have x by itself. This gives us, the reply -2 = x

    see its lyk

    2x+11=5+4x

    2x-4x=5-11

    2x=6

    2x-4x=5-11

    -2x=6

    -2x/-2=6/-2

    x=-3
