ZUKO!!!!! LEGEND OF KORRA?!?!?!?

I read some YouTube videos saying that it was his grandson.

I would think General Iroh is related to Zuko because one thing is that Zuko's uncle, I believe, was named Iroh. I'm pretty sure he is Zuko grandson, he couldn't be his son because Legend of Korra is suppose to be about 70 years later and Iroh look pretty young, maybe in his 19's or 20's. I don't think Zuko would have a son that old. He does have an unnamed daughter and she is the new Fire Lord. According to Nick's website Zuko is still alive, so I would think so. Although I would love Bolin and Mako to be related to Zuko it is extemely unlikely. The chances of two orphans being related to one of the makers of the city they live in is not likely at all and most fire benders or fire nation people have very similar features. I have no idea how many kids he has but I really hope more than one! I am sooo happy they used Zuko's voice too.

Alright, so way before Korra came out, so like a year and a half ago, I was reading through some forums and came across one about Dante Basco (aka the voice of Zuko). It said that he had said that in LoK he would be voicing a character who was in someway related to Zuko. So of course when I watched the end of the episode and heard his voice I squealed because it was true. So General Iroh is clearly related to Zuko in some way. My theory is that Zuko and Mai (I'm nearly positive they ended up together) had one child, which is their daughter who is now the Fire Lord. She and Bumi (Aang and Katara's non-bending son) some how ended up together and had a child, General Iroh. If you look at the picture of Bumi on the Avatar Wiki and the pictures of General Iroh, they are wearing the same red collar thing. Coincidence? I think not. Iroh is clearly to young to be Zukos direct son, because he has to be in his early 20s somewhere, and Zukos in his 80s. I mean it's not impossible, just his mother couldn't be Mai, and that's no fun. And then so what you were saying about Mako and Bolin being his sons, that is impossible. Their parents died when Mako was 8, he's 18 in the series, so a good ten years before the series. He even saw them get mugged and killed infront of him (major Batman reference). Zuko is confirmed alive in the series and is traveling the world as a peace keeper, and he is 86. Even though Mako is a fire bender, like Zuko, he is most definetly not his son. I think Mako and Bolin are two of the few characters in the show who aren't related to anyone from ATLA. Those are my thoughts.

I am guessing that Zuko had two kids. Most likely with Mai. It's a fact that he at least had one daughter who took Zuko's position of Firelord after he resigned and then decided to travel the world. His son ( which i am guessing is General Iroh) probably did not want to be a firelord or was second in line to the throne so he then decided to become a soldier and then eventually became a general. I am really not sure about the theory of General Iroh being his grandson. We would all have to know more about Zuko's kids. Even though both are great theories that make you think, one of them will have to be right

Zuko is still alive, and has an unnamed daughter. He gave her the title three years before the Legend of Korra started and is now a global ambassador for peace. General Iroh is quite young, I doubt he's Zuko's son but most likely his grandson.

Bolin and Mako are in no way related to anyone from the old series.

At first, I also thought that Mako and Bolin are somehow related to Zuko (esp. Mako) but after watching it little longer I realized they aren't because they won't be living in the street if they're related to Zuko which used to be a Fire Lord. General Iroh I believe is the grandson of Zuko, I mean look at Aang's daughter and sons, or Toph's daughter, they're all look like in their 50s and General Iroh doesn't look that old, so yeah.

Anyway, I'm guessing he had 2 kids.

And no, Mako and Bolin aren't Zuko's kids.

Just cuz one of em can firebend doesn't make

Anyway, Mako and Bolins parents were killed when

they were young.

And yes, I've heard Zuko is still alive and is traveling

the world. Not sure how old he is, but I'm guessing

he's in his 70 - 80's.

I watched 2days episode and near the end, I was surprised to

hear Zuko's voice again. Y would they give him Zuko's voice?

Well, Nick.com says that zuko's daughter is now firelord, meaning she must be the oldest. My guess is that general iroh must be his youngest son. He can't be his grandson because the oldest gaang grandchild is like 11. Don't rule out the fact that mako could be related to zuko though! My theory is that one of zuko's kids got mixed up with a person from republic city. Maybe, for some reason, they didn't want to be affiliated with them, so they kicked them to the curb. Then that (let's just say lady, making iroh the guy) lady kept the baby (MAKO). She later found another guy and had Bolin. Make sense?

The whole fandom had just found today too. It was also confirmed by CJ Farley via Twitter, who happens to be a, I quote, (Editorial Director WSJ Blogs Senior Editor Speakeasy culture site The Wall Street Journal Author, novelist, columnist) after he had gotten off the phone with Korra creators.
