dose my dog need a health certificate for flying on the plane?
tomrow me and my 4 year old 10lbs poodle arew flying on delta airlines im wondering if he will need a health certificate stating hes in good health he is flying under the seat on the plane with me if that makes a diffrence thanks for all the anwsers!
yes I did talk to them and they just told me the fee for him and what size the crate has to be thats realy all they said but im gonna get a health certificate for him today at his vets just incase

Did you CALL the airline and make the arrangements to bring your dog? They can tell you the requirements of that particular airline. usually , they do require a shot record and health exam. you cannot just show up with the dog. have to call and learn their rules and kennel requirements and FEE. If you had already talked to them, seems to me you would know their requirements...that's why i am wondering if you have talked to them.

In most of the case, its not needed.
However, its good to carry. They might ask you. I suggest to carry health certificate of your dog with you.

If it is a domestic flight no certificate is needed(except Hawaii). If it is international, the destination country may have exigencies.
