On an Apple iPad? I tried the edit function and that didn't help.

I recently upgraded to the new Apple software and now the volume image that used to be at the top of the screen has disappeared. There is an image that resembles the 'sound' image but it is all about wifi. This is probably an easy fix for a computer lit person but I am not that person. How do I get sound back?

I've been reading that certain retailers and the like use cookies to see how many times a person visits a site. They then adjust pricing knowing that you have shown interest in a certain item. A friend, a well-seasoned cruiser, says that the tender trip to/from Belize City is a waste of time. I have noticed post offices and other institution buildings with recent solar installations but the contractors don't advertise and the agencies won't give out the info. I'm not looking for a five year fix so I can make a sale. Northern California, redwood forest; limited sunlight. The existing roof is 23 years old.

nationalities do you find to be the most annoying? I was surprised to see seven answers, none of which mentioned Americans. Does that mean that Americans are finally behaving or that other nationalities, with new found liberties and money, have replaced us? My take from the survey answers is that Russians top the list of annoying foreigners followed by the Chinese/other Asians, Italians (surprise to me), and the Spanish in sunglasses when it is night time. Very interesting. No one mentioned the Germans and even I think they are a bit pushy. I guess my question is - are Americans out of the dog house thanks to Putin?

What a fabulous city and cruise destination that only has one part-time anchor..Princess. Yeah, I see an odd boat from time to time from my balcony, but very few. And it is one of the few destination cities that you can actually walk off the ship and be in the city. Gay cruises don't even depart from here. What's that about?
