Romney longed to go to The Vietnan War?

How does that work when he sought and received two deferments (U S Selective services records) one for his first year at Stanford, and another for FOUR YEARS on the grounds as a MORMON MISSIONARY ??? Another of the TWO ANSWERS of Romney for every question ??

Update:

DAN L BOUN No one Wants to go to war !!" The chicken hawks" are always quick to send others. But YOU, DID the right thing, and should be proud of yourself and what I consider a true patriot and an American. Others here say ''what did Obama do,he hasn't served''! It's not if you served or not, its WHAT you did when your life was tested for character and patriotism !! And you my friend not only passed the test and accepted the challenge, you were lucky enough to survive and return..Thank you for your service,,and people like myself will never forget your actions, and will ALWAYS support you in your needs.. HE is one of many chicken hawks. Most of us subject to the draft during that crappy war have no problem with the draft dodgers, I do have a problem with draft dodgers who now think sending someone else to war is a good thing. There is a special place in hell reserved for Me Romney, Mr Cheney and Mr Bush. Three heinous chicken hawks

I am glad he didn't go and also glad for the others that didn't go. No one should have gone! My husband has suffered some bad reactions for having served there. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE. Going to Viet Nam, getting killed, mental problems, missing limbs ...oh yes is that what we want for our men?

There was a time, that bothered me big time... Being drafted in 1968, & out in 1970, & others, somehow side steeped it... I'm by no means, a Romney supporter, but in retrospect, I some times wonder, which of us, was the smarter....

It doesn't work. I don't believe that Romney longed to go to the VietNam war.

Actions, or lack thereof, speak louder than words.

Yeah, that's why he applied for four deferments.

Not sure anyone would want to go to war... He should have just smoked pot and snorted coke, that would have made him the perfect President in your eyes I guess?
