Cool ways to cut up a shirt that's way too big?

My university's sizes are way too big for me since I'm smaller than average. The shirt that I got for free at orientation last year was only available in medium and large, so I just got the medium. Now it's sitting in my closet doing nothing. The sleeves almost comes down to my wrist and the shirt reaches to my knees. Anybody have any ideas on how to cut it? I tried to find some on Youtube but most aren't what I am looking for. If you have a link to a good video, please put it here or give me detailed ideas on how to do it since I'm not so great with cutting up clothes. Thanks!

PS: If it helps, I plan to make it a tank top since the sleeves would be ugly cut half way. Also, I also plan to cut off the bottom as well because it's way too long.

Update:

What detail in this question made you think I was looking to attract men? ._. I don't want to attract men. I just want a cooler piece of clothing with my university's shirt.

slit the aspects below the sleeves (arise about an inch and a 1/2 remote from the bottom of the sleeve) then take each 1/2 of that and shrink little slits (about an inch lengthy and a quarter inch thick) then tie both strips opposite one yet another (from opposite aspects of that aspect of the T) this might want to be tight installation so if no longer undo the knots and shrink the slits a touch deeper and retie them. seems large amazing with a skirt!

If your looking to attract men with the shirt cutting stuff there is a much simpler solution, Don't wear one.
