Are You A Fan Of This 80 Year Old Singer Who Is Still Going Strong?

Yes, I am a fan of hers. May everyone who wishes to do what they love continue to do so. This, after all, is what keeps people young at heart!

I've always been a fan of Old Country music back into the 40's and that includes Loretta. I think she showed up sometime in the late 50's or 60's, I don't remember exactly when.

I've liked Loretta Lynn's music since I was 16 years-old. What a legend.

I haven't heard anything from her lately. I don't get much tv. I know Tony Bennett is also in his 80's and still going strong. Comedian/Actress Betty White is busy and so is Don Rickles who is also in his 80's actually BW is 90.

I was thinking with all this awards shows it would be funny to see one for senior citizens. The could have different catagories and age groups for athlets. mother of the year, etc.

Many of the older country stars are still touring. I went to see Connie Smith last year. She was nearly 70 at the time with the same, powerful voice I had always remembered he for . Additionally, she looked better than most women 20 years her junior !

That's great. I probably wouldn't go to a Loretta Lynn concert but I admire her. Saw her interviewed this morning. She appears to be in great shape.

She is 80??? Amazing. No I dont like that type of music. Tony Bennett is the same age and still singing.

And a fellow Kentuckian at that.I wonder how many of these newer performers will have this staying power? Very few I imagine as loyalty runs deep in our generation.
