This marks the true end of the early cowboy era. Roy, Gene, Lone Ranger, Hoppy and others.

How very sad, but who purchased Trigger? I used to have a time share at their many campsites called Thousand Trails and wonder if that also went defunct. Did none of their descendants want to keep their iconic parents/grandparents memory alive? I would love to know where Trigger is.
