Give him a good run so he's not so wound up and then get some yummy treats he can't resist and encourage him to come into the house. You'll have to teach some indoor manners like no jumping on counters or furniture and you'll have to housebreak him also.
7 years isn't that old. When he's around 10 or so, then you can call him old.

He is not old. When he turns 10+ years or older then hes old. You need to exercise him a lot. Take him for a 10-20 minute jog/walk or run

7 yrs is not old he is an adult . as for him being outside for that long obviously he has grown used to it so what can you do to bring him inside ? open the door and train him to be an inside dog.

If you really want to keep him in use treats/food but not to much. And 7 isn't old but I understand huskeys how they are bigger slow down faster occasionally so good luck on your husky inside and to make him not hyper EXERSISE

If he is hyper, train him first. That will calm him down. Then you can bring him inside and everything will be fine.

are you asking what to do to calm him down before you bring him inside? if so then i suggest you take him on a good long walk to tire him out.don't overheat him just tire him out that way he'll just come in and relax most likely fall asleep. that's what i do for my dogs before i bring them in and right now they are both crashed out sleeping.
