Looking for a "Southern BBQ" color scheme for a wedding reception...?

Reds, blues and yellows, or any combination of those colors

My sister got married about a year ago and her bridal shower was a southern bbq... we stuck to pink and green because it was all ladies. One idea you might like is that we used mason jars as cups for our sweet tea!

Consider red & white checkered table clothes with white napkins and blue, white & yellow floral arrangements such as daisies and batchelor buttons placed in mason jars....tie a color co-ordinated ribbon around the neck of each jar......

Red & white checked tablecloths with a splash of yellow - maybe sunflowers. Use Mason jars for beverages like iced tea and lemonade.

I would go with bright primary or secondary colors. Red, yellow and pumpkin orange. The colors will go with the barbeque sauce. If you want an american theme, go with red white and blue.

But think if the color of your food, and go with that. Yellow corn, orange beans and sauce, red ribs.
