do you enjoy stories written in first person?

I recently started writing a story in first person. I find it harder to write it in third person, however i'm still rewriting it in third in order to improve at it. But does anyone enjoy reading first person stories, or why not? Also any tips on writing in first and third person, or just in general? Thank you in advance.

    Yeah, but I prefer third.

If you're planning to write in first person you need to make sure that you steer clear of making an annoying character, since the reader will be in their head the whole time. Even more importantly, you need to make sure the *love interest* isn't seen as some annoying Mary Sue. It's pretty easy to fall in the trap. Also, don't overuse the word 'I'.

I prefer writing stories in third person because you can jump into characters minds and have them voice their opinions. And when writing in the "looking back" mode you can comment on what you learned during any past event. It is like traveling in your own time machine.

Uh, no, as long as he places interior the commencing up something like "Any similarities to any genuine characters or activities are completely fictituous." So, enable it circulate, reason you will no longer win, or have a gamble, sorry. How do you think of a good number of the paradies on television get away with making relaxing of celebrities? reason they remind human beings of that, which of direction means you are able to no longer circulate out and repeat a celebrity did besides the fact that they did on that practice becuase they are going to say "that's no longer me." Which, via what the practice itself reported, is authentic. whether the super call did do what they did on the practice.

  • I like first person the best, because you can hear all the characters thoughts, feel what they feel, I don't like how in 3rd person you already know who likes who, how they feel about each other, etc. I like the mystery of not knowing about the other characters :)
