are all barbs or just tiger barbs nippy?
My tiger barbs are nipping my rainbowfish so I'm returning them. I'm wondering if all barbs would get nipped like red-line torpedo barbs, or is it just tiger barbs?

There is only one commonly available Barb that does not fin nip, and that is the Cherry Barb. Any other Barb you find will fin nip, unfortunately.

in case you have tiger barbs in an area tank you need to have atleast 6 or they are going to nip different fishes memories and fins to shreds. once you have 6 they only play around and chase eachother in case you get 6 they are rather uncomplicated to reproduce and could lay as much as 500 eggs at as quickly as supply it a attempt. on no account positioned TIGER BARBS IN WITH long TAIL BREEDS
