I have this odd notion that when you define things you set boundaries to them ... which is fine for solving problems ... but in my strange little mind ... not a way to live and love ...     Define grit. Is that like the um, 'sandy' stuff, or is that like inner strength, or is that like that corn stuff southerners like with their pork gravy, or as in 'grit your teeth and bear it?'

    Then, define true.

    Then, define love.

    Yeah, I think I detect an undertone of sourness also.

    After umpteen years of marriage, I can say true love is many things, some singly and others collectively. True love prefers the spouse above all other relationships. True love lasts no matter the mood or circumstances. True love is merciful and kind.

    Scripture talks about love. God's love is spiritual, but you will be interested in what scripture has to say:

    1 Corinthians 13:4-7
