How can someone objectively assess questions when she blocks all people who disagree with her?

Perhaps that person's goal is not to objectively assess questions (or answers).

Some people do not come to R&S to assess things objectively. They would prefer we all agree with their view... or else.

Most are here to advance personal agendas - not to "objectively assess" answers. They come here to solicit agreement - not to learn something new.

Everyone wants to teach and no one wants to learn - too many chiefs and not enough Indians as they say.

How does anyone objectively assess something? Wouldn't we have to be outside ourselves to pull that off?

The person who is not open to those who disagree with their philosophy loses the opportunity of in depth exploring of ones own belief. That person is in danger of holding fast to error. If one has a strong belief and they assert the viability of that belief, that person can afford to look hard at all aspects of those who disagree. This looking will either substantiate or dis-infranchise the mind-set that is held. One may "waste" years of holding to error, especially when one surrounds themselves with those of the same agreement. It is not healthy to do.

We are not here to be objective. We are here to answer questions based on our own limited or vast knowledge.

Ehh...those people are called bigots. They think they know the answers to everything. I don't know why people like that ask questions if they aren't looking for people who disagree with them.

If you don't like that people are allowed to block other users, there are other forums that allow you to do whatever you want. Feel free to go there.

Personally I only block people who block me, which is rarely.

I only do it because it bugs me when they do it to me, so I do it back to bug them lmao.
