Which Norwegian female-name?

My husband is from Norway and he wants our little girl to have one of these names. But I can't decide which. (The first two have cultural meanings and deep Norse-historical value) and Venke I just liked it :)

Just say which is your favorite, to help me decide a little.

Sæbjørg

Bjørg

Venke

Sæbjørg is not a name I have ever encountered before, and it looks a bit strange. Both Bjørg and Venke are more common in Norway, and I think they are fine names.

I would worry a bit about the letter "ø" in Bjørg (if you are located outside of Scandinavia), and would probably go for Venke.

I like Bjørg. My aunt's name is Wenche. I really like Maija (my mum's name). My name is Stine, which is really common, and I hate it.

    Other old norwegian names are:

    Alma

    Alvhild

    Astrid

Embla (the first woman on earth according to the norse mythology. The first man was Ask)

Elida (I want that name sooo bad! I think I'm gonna add it as my middle name..)

    Ellisiv

    Frøya (the norse lovegodess)

    Frøydis

    Gerd

    Ingebjørg

    Ingeborg

    Ingrid

    Live/Liva

    Solbjørg

    Tora
