Can anyone explain to me what Minecraft is?

Its a videogame where you can build things with blocks. Think of it as Legos but with ground, rock, wood, brick etc. as blocks. You have to run around and gather these different blocks by hitting it with either your hand or some kind of tool that you can craft like a pickaxe, shovel, or an axe. Ive seen some crazy creations that people have made. Its a more primitive and non-free version of second life. You use 16bit graphics or whatever it is. to build things. It can be cool, but second life is free and you can build modern things (it is more advanced though maybe?). Girls tend to enjoy second life more because they can make their avatars look however they want,you can chat, and you can build and even make real money on it.

Ive made over 50 bucks in my spare time just playing guitar/singing at clubs there. ::shrug::

I know other people who build houses and sell them in shops or outfits etc..
