It DOESN'T reduce costs. That was never it's intent and no one has EVER said it was suppose to do that. It's sole purpose as marketed is to reduce the number of uninsured citizens. What it actually does it tax the Middle and Upper Classes and divert the majority of that money to Insurance and Pharmaceutical Corporations.

People who are not profiting would be watching what is happening. That is much better for the patient and consumers. So if a doctors billing office knows some poor old man isn't reading the bills well they are not going to double and triple bill him and get away with it for example. They would send back extra money if he overpays.

Lots of single people are not on the ball when they are sick. Most older people end up single by a spouse dying for from divorce so they take advantage of those that don't have someone to keep track of things.

They will watch in many ways. I appreciate you asking a real question. I wish I was better at answering it. I wish Bill Clinton would be appointed as the person to explain this. He can explain it so anyone can understand it. I heard him in an interview years ago. Wow. It's better than I can explain.

It doesn't, only reduces the amount of borrowed funds the government has to procure for supporting the health system. Spreading the wealth takes on the form of increased costs when we have dug such a huge hole in our finances.

It will raise cost. If you think it will lower it I have some ocean front property in Kansas to sell you.
