Scrapping the rookie rule in MotoGP?

If Honda can now take Marquez straight into the factory team and Rossi is almost sure to split with Ducati, where would he go next year? I can't see where else he can if the option of Honda is removed.

Or do you think Honda would be happy to put Marquez in a satalite team for a year or two if it meant they get Rossi, supposing they want him?

I'm guessing you did not follow MotoGP in 2003 when Rossi left Honda ?

He will never ride for HRC again.

He will never ride for Yamaha whilst JL99 is riding for them.

Rossi will stay at Ducati and hang his leathers up with them.

The rookie rule was rubbish from the start. MM93 will be fantastic in Repsol.

There has been no offer for Rossi to return to Honda, Honda has too good a memory to forget Rossi's ultimatum to them, and if Honda didn't agree he would leave them -- which he did.

The "rookie rule' was a rule not thought out in the beginning but it has only taken till now for them to accept the mistake.

Marquez will make an excellent Repsol Honda rider in MotoGP. As would Cal on a factory Yamaha, but that's another story....

Well Marquez do have potential he is young, been successful in Moto2. Rossi will continue with Ducati I think because it doesn't matter if he wins a championship or not he will always be the legend and those 9 world championship titles is what he is gonna be remembered for and for the man he is because he is just an amazing personality.

Rossi do also the option of going of going too a private team or build one himself which I doubt he will.

Whatever he does, he will still be the best and just enjoy it because someone like Valentino Rossi might not come for a long time now, he is truly magic, one of a kind!
