pressure is unlimited, but vacuum has a limit of 28Hg? If this were not the case, would the internal combustion engine still work? I'm thinking not!

    Pressure can be built up to the limitations of the vessel that what ever is being shoved into. Only so much can be removed. Once its gone, that is it. Does this put s limitation on an engine? Somewhat. That is due to the strength of the materials used and the octane of the fuel.
