What effects have Obama and Holder dumping assault weapons into Mexico had on tourism and overall economy?
I've got to believe that all of the deaths associated with Obama and Holders "Fast & Furious" program, have had a nasty impact on the tourist trade...
Under similar programs prior to "Fast & Furious" the Bush administration worked in partnership with the Mexican government, in addition to actually tracking the weapons sold - Holder and Obama did neither of these things and scores of people died as a result... (I'm betting that half of the liberals who answer, won't have read this far and will embarrass themselves with uninformed answers)
To steal a liberal line of thought, often spewed about Bush, based upon the deaths caused by "Fast & Furious", should Holder, Obama or possibly both be tried as criminals?

I've read the Fortune article - Have you read Katie Pavlich's book "Fast and Furious"; there is an absolute cover up being attempted and it reaches at least as high as Janet Napolitano, the DOJ under Holder ran the operation, but Homeland Security authorized the gun walking and both Napolitano and Holder have provably lied to congress as to when they became aware of it.

The gang related violence has had a devastating effect on Mexican tourism. But this drug war started 7 or 8 years ago and is unrelated to whomever is president.

I think he is like a hurricane. He could come to a cricket match and do very little damage or he could powerfully and demolish everything. Not too long ago he destroyed the Pune Warriors in the IPL and scored 175 (not out) in 66 balls. But then again he has gone out for a duck 21 times in ODI's since he started. It all depends on the day and not the type of bowlers.
