Free pants, belt optional.?
So I did ask my wife for pants... She did and they are kinda nice. There is a sticking problem. She did not listen to my waist size. They fall down, they are two inches too big.
The crux of the question... Am I ungrateful, or her telling me to buy a belt i did not need before she gave me the darn pants.
Yes, I have a serene life to ask such a petty question. Buy the right size pants, please don't make me get a belt. Is that a hard thing?

You are ungrateful. If you're not happy with what she got you, you should have gone and gotten one yourself.

Since you are so dead set on having pants your size and not wearing a belt i think your option is to shop for your own pants and aviod the problem all together. Happy wife happy life. Enjoy your serene life and don't get stuck on little things. GOOD LUCK.

Let me give you some marital advice. Exchange the pants for a smaller size, have them tailored so that they fit you, or buy a belt.
She was trying to make you happy, made a minor slip up, and you are focused on the wrong thing. Lucky you, she was trying to make you happy.
