What is the best kind of thermometer for our tank?

We just got some bearded dragons and the thermometer says the tank is 120 but it clearly isn't the inside of the tank feels no where near that hot. So I wanted to know what the best one we should get

    Get 2 digital thermometers, ZOOmed or Exoterra. One for the hot side, one for the cool side. Cool side should be 80-85, hot side should be 100-110 max

    The best kind of thermometer to use is a non contact infrared thermometer, sometimes called a tempgun. You cam aim anywhere in the tank and get the exact temperature of the spot.

    There are other brands, most reptile stores sell them, and some chain pet stores are starting to carry them.
