Higgs boson question?

I know absolutely nothing about physics, but I have always wondered, is the Higgs boson the most basic particle that all particles are made of and it can not be broken down into anything else?

I realize this question may be 1000 times more difficult than how I worded, but a basic yes or no and maybe a link or 2 would be appreciated.

Lord no. Besides the higgs (and not counting antiparticles), there are 16 most basic particles that all other particles are made of and they can not be broken down into anything else. There might turn out to be more, too, those are just the ones we know about. they are called "fundamental particles".

higg's boson is that elementary particle which is presumed to be the one responsible for mss in all things.

it isn't the only elementary particle but is only one of them.

    Nope.

Matter of fact it's gigantic, if it exists.
