RI Not getting better. But not getting worse?

So a while ago now, my BP had a mouth rot, and a RI. I took him to the vet, and 200 dollars later, he doesn't have a mouth rot anymore. The vet also gave some antibiotics, which I don't think have worked.

He still is occasionally wheezing, yet only when I handle him. Other than that I hear nothing. There is no bubbles, no mucus, he's not even trying to elevate his head. Could this still be a RI? His temps and humidity are correct. 80 ambient, 90 hot spot, 40-50% humidity. It's just frustrating, and I really don't have the cash to go to that vet again. I have tried a home remedy, it was giving him a steam bath with a mixture of eucalyptus oil and vicks vaporub. Anyone have any suggestions, or thoughts on this?

I have a enchi female that as a baby had a bad ri and she wheezed for close to a year. She wasn't sick but our vet described it as their lungs are sort of scarred. A bad ri for a snake is like pnamonia for us, it lingers for a while. As long as the temps are up just watch him. If he is eating and shedding n active I wouldn't worry. If it doesn't clear in a few weeks or he seems ill I would take him back
