Help with blank cd-rs?
I want to add space to my computer by placing some videos that I downloaded onto my computer into cd-rs. The blank cd-rs that I have only hold up to 700mb, but each .avi file that I have are around 725 mb.

So, is there any way that I could cut the video a little? They open in Windows Media Player.

get a flash drive or compress them with winrar, winrar should cut them in halve heres a link http://www.filehippo.com/download_winrar_32/ but you'll have to decompress when u want to watch them

Yeah, you could do that with editing software like virtualdub to chop and splice it down a bit or you could recompress them at a lower bit rate (lower image quality for smaller size).
Alternately, you could spend the cost of two CD-R spindles for a DVD burner and a stack of 50 DVD-Rs.
It'll definitely save you a lot of hassle and time.

I would put them on a blank dvdr which will hold up to 4 videos depending on the size of the files or you could convert them to a smaller file size
