How to get a more defined V-LINE?

Lately, I've noticed I have a v-line. But me still being fat, I want it to be more defined. Are there ways to make it more noticeable?

I'm 16 years old and 5'6. I'm also a male. I was 160 lbs. Now I'm 146 lbs. What weight, would it be best to see the results?

Will, I lose the v-line if I get too skinny? I know I'm suppose to get more toned/ fit. But I would like to get skinnier first.

THANK YOU!

The more quickly you lose weight, the quicker you'll lose muscle. If you build more muscle your weight won't be fat anymore. Weight isn't important for a males physique, its more about our body mass index (ratio of fat to muscle) just do some strength training with heavy weights, and supplement it with a lil cardio. (Not too much cardio though, it'll burn up muscle and fat) pushups and pullups are great for toning up, without building giant muscles. If you want big muscles, then squats, deadlifts, and other compound exercises are the quickest and most efficient way to go. Isolation exercises won't help a lot until you have a lot of muscle mass. Its like trying to make an ice sculpture out of an ice cube. You gotta have a big chunk of muscle to work with, and that's why compound exercises are ideal. Compound exercises work a large group of muscles. Ex. Deadlifts work quads, hamstrings, calves, glutes, lower back, lats, abs, obliques, shoulders. Chin ups work lats, delts, bi's, abs, forearms, etc. Isolation workouts only work one or two muscle groups. Ex. Bicep curls work biceps, maybe forearms a little. but remember muscle weighs more than fat, you should worry more about how you look in the mirror, than how much you weigh on a scale. Good luck with your goals, check out bodybuilding.com if you ever need tips, tricks, exercises and info. Its helped me tons.

A V line means two things:

    1. Small waist.

    2. Wide lats (latissimus dorsi muscles).

In order to improve your V-line, you need to work on cutting fat (not weight, fat specifically) while working out with specific focus on your back.

Yes, you will lose a V-line if you get too skinny. Muscles require calories and being skinny means you're lacking calories.
