Quick question about good and evil in way of the bible?

all the answers i've read so far are WRONG.

yes, people, animals, all life forms, trees, etc

evil is a .... character & personality trait.

read genesis again. God created beautiful , perfect humans with perfect character traits.

this means God does not create evil human beings.

satan is the father of lies and everything evil.

God is perfect.

satan is the opposite. get it ?

yes, that is what the Law of Moses is all about. Do's and don'ts ...

if you're so against this teaching of obedience to God,

if you and a bunch of people are put in an apartment in a highrise and told that if you jump, you will die. You have no doubt abt it. Would YOU jump ?

similarly, when God COMMANDED adam and eve NOT to eat the forbidden fruit and God actually TOLD them that they will DIE if they ate ... did they OBEY ?

they were warned that they will die.

yet, they disobeyed.

humans, classically, tread the same path .... consistently disobeying God.

and when death comes ... it may be physical, financial, mental .. they blame God.

is this fair ? no.

look at the state of immorality today ...

bastards are being made and born all around the world ... daily.

is it a wonder that even the poor earth is dying ... bc of the sins of mankind.

then all the wicked people point their finger at God like what you're doing now.

blasphemy ...adding sin to sin.

You obviously have no idea how many times this theme has been made into a question before...2-3 times a day for years and tears... it really get so boring.

God wants us to make the right choices... He didn't make the evil... He has given us free will and a way to be forgiven (at great personal cost to Him).

It only makes sense when explained through the mythical story of the garden of Eden. Even then it reads like a children's story. You could say that it is because of lucifer offering temptation, to which I will say, did God not create lucifer? Why did he enable him to fall? The only answer anyone can offer is " have faith" There is nothing that can explain any of it

Mind you, I have not been Christian since my elementary school years, but my understanding has always been that God did not make good or evil. Rather, he told man what he considered to be good, then gave us free will to decide for ourselves whether or not to follow those guidelines. Evil stems not from God or from Satan, but rather from a person's conscious decision that the eventual rewards of eternal life in heaven aren't worth denying themselves the immediate gratification they get from whatever sin they are committing. I don't think God wants to force people to worship him. so he put evil for people to chose. it's up to you which way you chose. God or evil.

Yes God did originally make everything, including Lucifer.

However, Lucifer went BAD, and became Satan the devil & deceiver.

The excuse is that god was ''testing'' man's use of his freewill. But he's omniscient and knew what the result would be. Why he bothered is beyond me!
