I know this isn't true for everybody (not trying to generalize) but why is it that when things come up that are either difficult to explain or you don't know how to explain (lets take the big bang for example) it seems that the fallback argument is 'God did it'? Then some constantly go back to that same answer for everything they cant explain. I don't understand how this is a rational argument: "I don't know how this works nor do I understand it, so God must have done it." Wouldn't it be easier to at least try to reason out some possibilities?

When you want to get away scott-free for killing people because they dont agree with 'your' ideas...

If God supposedly made everything, then didn't he also make evil just for the purpose of wanting people to do bad just so he could punish them? Thats like putting a bunch of people in a room with a red button on the table and saying, don't touch that red button.

If i have $10000, and i put $5000 aside, and then i put $2500 of that $5000 away, then don't i still have $10000? Its my money so why the hell not?

A handful of women that i have met talk about finding the man of their dreams and such but pass up the guy that would basically fit that description excluding looks, and go for the guy that fits the looks but nothing else? No this hasn't happened to me (yet, im sure it will) but i been trying to figure out why those individuals did that.

Ok so this is going to make no sense at all whatsoever. If you knew how to defuse a bomb and you had to save one of the three: a man, a woman, or a 2x2x1 crate of puppies; which would you save?

You CANNOT save more than one of the targets, you can only save one so lets say all the timers on the bombs are set to detonate when one has been defused.

You CANNOT NOT save any of the targets, for general purposes lets say that if you try this you get killed along with the other targets.

So which one do you save? I would save the puppies just kuz i like puppies.

Why do people make such a big deal over killing? It's nothing new, people have been killing people since the beginning of mankind. Yet for some reason people have yet to get over the fact that people kill people. There is a really good quote from 28 Days Later that i like "This is what I've seen in the four weeks since infection. People killing people. Which is much what I saw in the four weeks before infection, and the four weeks before that, and before that, and as far back as I care to remember. People killing people. Which to my mind, puts us in a state of normality right now." Look at any point where people killed people, then look at how others took it, some like myself said 'meh' and others went batshit.

Ok so yesterday i was watching the penguins of madagascar and kowalski made a REALLY good point: Why are the smart people not in charge? This is what he said:

Ok so we've all heard the random crap of yiff in hell furfags etc, but anyways, when was the last time anybody told you that and it actually made you feel bad? Its like when people say the old timey N word, its like who says that anymore? The words just lose their effect after about a week and it just gets to a point were you can just go around and say furfag to another fur and its like saying ni gga to another black guy.

Back to the question, have you ever been offended by somebody saying anything bad about you being a furry?

Ok thanks for at least clicking on my question. So I don't know why but things that most people would be affected by such as somebody dieing, being sad, getting horribly sick etc; are things that don't affect me. I don't know how to really explain it that well but a tragedy that happens to somebody else is like telling an old joke (except it doesnt make you laugh, just makes you sad), it gets old and after it gets told so many times you dont even smile or smirk. Could somebody please explain why i don't care? I'm trying to be sincere with this question, but the wording makes it seem like im not

Ok so i think that all humans have a natural quitter gene that we haven't really studied much. I don't mean quitter as in procrastination. I don't know how to explain it well but here's an example. If you pick up a sharp knife (like a trench knife) and thought about stabbing yourself in the head with it and killing yourself, you would just put it down without really thinking about it and walk off. The quitter gene is that thing that makes you walk away from it for no apparent reason. Or if you were standing on the edge of a cliff and were going to jump to your death, you don't do it for some reason. Can somebody please explain what this quitter gene is and why we have it. And if you don't have anything good to say then don't say it

Why do we have to wait to go to heaven? Why cant we have heaven before death and after?

Ok before you say anything, i just want a simple answer to the question. No telling me to convert to this or that, or saying that i should do this, i dont want any of your lies being forced on me.

If there is a god, and he loves all his children unconditionally, then why is there a hell?

Its kind of like the phrase: The following statement is true, the previous statement is false. If he loves us all, then why would he send people to such a bad place? Wouldn't that mean that hell doesn't exist, that its some old wives tale?
