Question for Christians about P.O.E.?
I know this isn't true for everybody (not trying to generalize) but why is it that when things come up that are either difficult to explain or you don't know how to explain (lets take the big bang for example) it seems that the fallback argument is 'God did it'? Then some constantly go back to that same answer for everything they cant explain. I don't understand how this is a rational argument: "I don't know how this works nor do I understand it, so God must have done it." Wouldn't it be easier to at least try to reason out some possibilities?
Prime example: Gregory.

"God did it" is not a fall back argument.
Now I'm not going to get technical or all Genesis on the matter, but lets just say God set that ball rolling.
