Will eating cake make me fat?
Ok so I'm a recovering anorexic. For lunch I plan on having:
Wheat bread with 1 tbs pb and 1 tsp honey
Maybe string cheese or fro yo?
A small slice of cake(icing included)
Will this make me fat? I'm 5'3, around 95-96 pounds, and almost 14. Thx!

Stop thinking about food. There is a Buddhist quote that says "The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything"... which means that there is no illness if we blank our minds. We were born with a healthy mind right?.... if we empty our minds of these thoughts, we are left with the purity that is a baby.
You need to become aware of your thoughts, it takes practice but is achievable for everyone. We all have that higher level of thinking that can be the "impartial observer" ... you need to observe your thoughts constantly, every minute, every day for the rest of your life. We all should do this.
Don't fight with food, you are making it powerful by telling yourself it's the enemy.
Saw Palmetto is a natural herb which was used by the American Indians, it is great for the digestive tract and giving your appetite back, maybe you could get a bottle of those.
You need to aim for healthy not attractive.... healthy is attractive

In moderation, no. If you eat a very lot, yes.
Your body requires a certain amount of food per day, at least 1200-1500 calories minimum.
1 piece of wheat bread contains about 60-70 calories.
1 tbs of peanut butter is about 90-100 calories.
1 tbs of honey is also about 60-70 calories.

This sounds like a relatively healthy lunch to me. You've got good carbs and protein. A small slice of cake will go right through you, dear. Wheat bread has a lot of fiber. Congratulations on your continued recovery.

Put a two litre water bottle plus a glass on your desk each morning. Get through it by means of lunch, and do the same from the afternoon. You’ll exercise better as well as recover faster if you’re hydrated. I drink some water every time someone asks me a stupid question or sends a stupid email... find something that works to suit your needs!

Utilize 20 minute rule. Eat your own portion-controlled meal then, even if you believe hungry afterwards, wait for 20 minutes and find out if you still do. Nine times from 10, you won’t. If one does, eat 10 per cent a lot more.

You gain fat when you're consuming more calories than you're burning (calorie surplus). Not from eating 'X' food (in this case, X is cake).
At your age it is essential that you're consuming enough nutrients for your body to grow. I recommend using some calorie calculators to get an idea of how many calories you require to maintain weight/put on weight/lose weight, and then track your calories tomorrow to see if you're hitting that number. Then go from there (add foods if necessary to meet the number).

Buy smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is significantly easier – those diminutive servings suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to eat less.

Supplement your diet with Omega-3 – buy top quality and they’ll boost your power and burn more fat.

Eating cake will DEFINITLEY not make you fat. I mean, if you eat it every day thats one thing, but occasionally it's fine to eat that! Plus, your a recovering anorexic so you can afford to eat extra stuff like that. ;)
