My sister is getting married and I want to get the couple the best wedding gift EVER! Any ideas?

I don't want anything extravagant. Just something that other people are going to look at and say "Wow! I wish I had thought of that.", or "What a great idea!". I'm also looking for something that they would use on a daily basis or at least weekly. Any ideas?

Update:

The coffee maker would be a good idea Ricardo, but neither of them drink it.

Wow, wish you would have told us how much you have to spend.

The best ideas come from knowing them. Are they taking a driving honeymoon? A gas card.

Are they not taking a honeymoon anytime soon? Date night at home kit. A gift card for pizza, a gift card for Blockbuster, some theater candy and some popcorn in a cute pottery bowl labled "popcorn" . Maybe an acrylic blanket, size small, they go for $5-10 bucks depending on where you get it. Couple of their favorite sodas, and you have it.

Or a date night card out on the town for their favorite restaurant and a gift card to your local movie theater.

Are they fun and wacky? shave ice machine and a sack of the flavorings. Or a good ice cream maker. Budget is bigger? Get a cookbook, a good bottle of vanilla for the ice cream maker.

Do a kit with any kind of kitchen pan, dish, or small appliance.

Get a pasta boiler, a nice one with a sturdy lid. Fill it full of Italian things, like a tin of oregano and one of garlic powder. A Italian cookbook. A box of pasta, a pasta tongs.

Get any kind of a baking dish, like a 13x9 cake pan, or two cookie sheets, or a couple pie pans. Buy the appropriate cookbook. Buy spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger. Buy a spatula to get the food out of them.

You have big bucks and they don't have a Kitchen aid mixer? Get one, or if someone else is, get the pasta maker attachment.

A fancy crock pot, a toaster oven.

Check their registry to make sure someone has not bought it yet, and go for it.

A clock. One for the mantle, or an anniversary clock that you can see the movement through the glass. You know their style and tastes, you will know whether to choose baroque, or modern, or something in between.

I believe it is a fairly first-class notion! But as an alternative of the blanket (I'm definite they're going to have tons) stick extra with the subject. The popcorn bowl is a pleasant present - we are constantly seeking to discover whatever massive ample, and we have now been married 7 years. So when you've got cash left over from the blanket, upload their fave munchies to the popcorn. It maybe sweet, or salted peanuts, and many others. Another choice is a small bottle of wine or their fave liquor.

My favorite gift was waterford crystal wine glasses that had a note that said to toast your anniversary with

I do not use them every day, but I do use than at least once a year

I love the idea, I would never spend that money for that good of crystal

How about a tea pot or a painting?

What does your sister like, you can get something special for her

I had a friend that collects Mickey Mouse, people got her some really cute stuff with Mickey mouse

My sister collects blue glass, does your sister collect anything or do you think she would like something like blue glass?

A coffee maker that turns itself on automatically in the morning so coffee I'd ready when she gets out if bed. And a years supply of Starbucks coffee, five pound per month delivered the first of the month, for a year.

Only you know your sister, so it's very difficult for strangers to tell you what to get. Maybe you could get something you know they really like off their registry and package it in a clever way that will delight them. "Wow! I wish I had thought of that." It would truly be better, if you want that reaction, if you would actually think of it yourself.
