Has anybody tried Dr. Ohhira's Probiotic supplements?

I hear they help with regulating your digestive system. Recently, I've been having some bad stomach issues & I usually drink some chamomile to soothe my stomach. But lately I've been having to drink up to 5 cups a day because almost anything upsets my stomach very easily. I saw these supplements at Sprouts but I was wondering just how good are they?

I have tried Dr Ohira's, quite expensive, but IMO it didnt work "as good" as some youghurt that Ive tried before, however, that is at least my own experience. Pls note that diff yoghurt supplier/brand may hv diff probiotics used, so your body would react differently to the probiotics used

I usually try a number of brands and see which one makes me feel "good/better"

Once I know which brand makes a better feeling, I then use that yoghurt brand as a starter culture (1 tablespoon), ie I made my own yoghurt using full cream milk (instant milk, abt 200g per 1L) This was made using EASIYO yogurt maker (pls note only dechlorinated water could be used eg RO water, not tap water - in the incubator and also when mixing the milk, otherwise your probiotics wont grow and your milk will not solidify as of normal yoghurt). I think you may be able to use tap water, if you use the default yoghurt mix powder that came with Easiyo (must be they put something in the powder to neutralize the chlorine)

THe other option that you may want to take is to use NATURES ANSWER ALOE PHYTOGEL

Nature's Answer, Aloe Vera Phytogel, 90 Veggie Caps

There was once I had a bad stomach cramps due to my accidental intake of a medication on empty stomach (which I shouldnt hv done), and upon take 4 caps of the above, the pain almost dissapear within 15-30 mins. It is known that aloe vera is very soothing on sensitive skin/ulcer/skin breakage etc. with great healing properties

THe other option is Source Naturals, Gamma Oryzanol, 60 mg, 100 Tablets

This one I nevertried for stomach discomfort. So, I dont exactly know its effectiveness, but many claimed it soothes the stomach
