Is there any way to watch Higurashi Kai legally in the US?
I first watched Higurashi When They Cry back when Funimation had it up on YouTube. My friends keep telling me to watch the second season, but since I dislike pirating anime, I figure I should ask the internet whether there is any legal way to watch it.
Apparently Funimation has no plans to license it. eBay directed me to some Malaysian bootlegs, and Amazon just has the Region 2 Japanese version. Kai is not available on Hulu, Netflix, CrunchyRoll, or YouTube (legally). So, unless anyone volunteers some info on how I can watch Kai in the US, I guess I will be left with no choice except to, erm... not watch it. Yes. That is definitely what I will do. I will not click these tempting links that I happened to bookmark. Accidentally.

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to legally watch it in the US, and it doesn't look like there will be any time soon.
You tried to find a legal way, and none exists, so I'm sure no one would blame you if you chose to...uh... "not watch it."
@everyone who has posted a link so far: Not a single one of those is actually legally streaming the episodes. Everything on GoGoAnime is illegally streamed, and while YouTube does have some legally streaming anime, the ones that have been posted are not legal.

Yes, I saw it on youtube. It's subbed.
Here you go:

Just go along from there. After the video you watch next parts 1-2, 1-3, etc.. then you move on to the next episode. The first episode is a bit confusing and boring but don't worry it gets better in the later episodes. Enjoy. :)
