Would senator Joe McCarthy have rallied for Obama's impeachment with allegations of Marxism and?

back door legislation that nearly 70% of Americans oppose and another 8% are unsure of? Though Obama becoming president would have been highly improbable for his ideology alone in the 1950's, it seems to me that he would be a prime McCarthy target. Anybody agree/disagree?

The Obama Administration was the kind of thing McCarthy's worst fears were made of when he started his hunt for Communists in government back in the early 50's.

Little-known fact text books ignore: McCarthy didn't merely accuse people of being soviet agents, most of the people tried WERE soviet agents or sympathizers proven to have conspired against the US.
