Well, considering god has never at any point ruled the nation (we're a democracy here, not a theocracy), and we made this country independent for the explicate purpose if getting AWAY from the the rule of the protestant church and King James, then I guess every president has been a tyrant. And no, the rights of Christians aren't being taken away, just their ability to force others to fallow their religion.
