My TV has one place to plug in a cable. How can I plug in a vcr without unplugging the cable?
The cable tv cord screws into the tv, but it's the only place to screw in a cord and the vcr has a screw in cord, too.
Thank you gkk_72! I will try that.

It worked gkk_72! Thank you! thank you also to the second person who had an answer for me. Glad I didn't need a modulator. It sounds a bit like a flux capacitor to me. Could I time travel with it? :-D Thanks for answering to both of you!

This is what most people do, they screw the cable tv cord into the input of the vcr then they take a short piece of cable and connect the output of the vcr to the input of the tv. When you want to watch tv, you turn the vcr off or set the vcr to tv and use the tv tuner. When you want to watch the vcr you set the channel to 3 (or 4 if your vcr is set to output to channel 4) and make sure the vcr is set to vcr instead of tv. If you have your vcr manual there should be a hook up diagram that explains this.

Check out an RF modulator. The vcr should have yellow video and red/white audio outputs. If so you can use an RF modulator.
