Post tonsillectomy question!?

I'm a little over 1 month post op and I've always had a pocket in one of my tonsil beds (where the tonsil used to be). Food tends to get stuck in the pocket and I have a cold or something and my throat is sore and mucus is coming out of the pocket. Is it normal to even have a pocket like this in the first place?

    I don't think it is normal at all,it should be completely healed by now. Let your doctor check it out...............
