What do you do with a public health degree?
I've recently heard about the major public health and would like to get more information on it. What do you learn for a public health degree? What do you do with a public health degree after graduating from college? I would appreciate any info regarding what a public health degree means. I would also love to hear from any who is majoring in it or who graduated with a public health degree.

"Powder93,"
A Bachelor's degree in Public Health typically concentrates on two disciplines; Biostatistics and Epidemology.
The degree is quite new and students who major in Public Health will do anything from attend medical school to law school. Or work for a government agency such as the CDC or the NIH.
If you are interested in the public research and implementation of health services, than this degree may be of interest to you.
What are your long-term career goals?
I would suggest that you take a look at Pfizer's "What is Public Health" website (listed below), so that you may get a better understanding of the Public Health Program.
Hope that helps!
