What is an easy way to make money in Photography?

I am an amateur photographer, and pride myself on my self taught photography skills. I have come to a point in my life where i need to come up with a good bit of money in a relatively short period of time, and decided to utilize a skill I have to make some money. So my question is, what is a good way for a photographer, specifically amateur to make some money with their skill. Here is a link to my Flickr

First, no offense intended, there is NO WAY I'm going to look at 194 pictures. I looked at the first page and the only one worth a second look was "Firing Clay". The rest were snapshot quality. I especially disliked the ones with the camera tilted at some crazy angle. If the first page is indicative of the rest of your photography then in my opinion you aren't producing anything marketable. Your "skill" is that of an amateur and it shows.

In my opinion you need to forget about trying to make money with your pictures at this time and instead spend time at these sites learning about Exposure, Composition, Light and Depth of Field.

    Exposure

    Composition

    Light

    Depth of Field

In the future, choose no more than 10 or fewer (preferably fewer) of your pictures that you consider the best of your best and ask for critiques on them.

The bottom line is that there is no easy - nor quick - way to make money with photography.

There is no such thing as a self taught photographer. I should look at the photos first then comment. Go back to the drawing board. OK you show a passion for your camera. The thing with digital cameras are if you are an amateur with a digital camera you are wasting your time. But you have a passion. I think you should forget making any money for now dear.Unless you are a pro , I really do not like digitals at all.. When you first get a digital you HAVE to know its sd cards not film right? That can keep you amateur for a long time , if you do not get training. You are a point and shooter not a self taught photographer. Granted all cameras whether film or sd cards all work on same principles .. but you gotta really know what you are getting yourself into first. They call it machine gun photography. STUDY

There is NO EASY way to make money in photography. None at all.

Running a photography business is, just like running any other business, hard work. On top of that, the competition for available work is fierce ... there are TENS OF MILLIONS of people like you, who own a DSLR who think they can make money with their camera ... how are you going to differentiate yourself from the masses?

Even something like shooting for stock photography (the, relatively speaking, easiest and safest way to make money with photography) is ALOT of work and until you have a large library of marketable images properly tagged and uploaded you won;t be making much and event then, the market for stock isn't very profitable anymore with the advent of microstock like IStockPhoto.

Looking at your work, you are missing some serious fundamentals ...

Ask yourself, would anyone buy your images or, after looking at your images, hire you to do a shoot for them? What images in your portfolio show that you have the skills to consistently produce good, marketable images?

If there was an "easy way" to make money, everyone would be doing it. If you are looking for a little extra income here and there, I would register an LLC with the state, purchase some insurance, start a website showcasing your portfolio, and advertise a little as a portrait photographer.

DSLR photography doesn't need to be over-complicated. This online photography course has been developed for beginners - intermediate levels and will teach you how to make the best use of your DSLR camera. https://tr.im/M7AKo

Learning how to confidently use your DSLR will help you get full value out of this awesome camera you have already paid for!

This course has been developed after seeing many potential photographers give up far too soon, wasting good money they have spent on the purchase of their DSLR camera.

If your flickr pages are your portfolio, no-one is going to hire you as a photographer. Snapshot quality, no appreciation of composition, basic errors.............I could go on, but really, your chances of making any money at all with your photography at this level are slim to zero.

I clicked on two random pages. One problem with being self-taught is the teacher. Better work some more on the fundamentals and seek some real mentoring and constructive criticism before planning to make much money from snapshots.
