I'm swollen like I'm pregnant, but not... Help?
I need a professional opinion...
Lately I've been feeling quite swollen and 'pulp' around my lower abdomen, uterus, cervix... area and I swear it's even expanded a little. It's like it would be if I was three months pregnant but that is not possible. I'm quite concerned because ever since I went on the pill I've had problem after problem and recently my vaginal wall swelled that bad it hurt to move.
I've been to the doctor and they didn't even look at me, they just told me I had a UTI... even after antibiotics I still feel the same.
Does anyone have an idea of what it would be, any similar stories?

They have to do something to give a diagnosis. YOU ask them questions about how they determine a UTI (they'd have to do an exam AND a urinalysis).
Go to a different clinic and have a frank discussion about fibroids, false pregnancy, pill side effects, weight gain and tumors. Ask how they determine each one and how they rule things out.

Go to another doctor. It could be a UTI, but any doctor that did not even due a visual exam should not be relied upon. Blood work and a urine analysis would have been two of the expected tests that should have been done. There are stronger antibiotics available, and some times they can take a few days to begin to help. A shot is available, and is more powerful that the typical oral antibiotics. In any case, you do need to see a doctor (again) and I would suggest a different one this time.
