Should I start batting left handed?
I'm the starting center fielder for my legion and hot stove teams. Just turned 14 years old about a month ago. I'm very very fast. If I get on base my coachs always tell me to steal 2nd and I never get caught stealing. I don't think it's ever happened to me before. But one time at a practice our coach had us do a little 4 v 4 , we were all just kidding around so I lined up in the left handed batter's box, and my coach said "yeah, there you go, you need to become a slap shot hitter"... I miss beating out ground balls by usually about one step if I don't beat them out. I've always been a right handed hitter, but is it time for change? I've seriously considered it. Please voice your opinion, all answers will be appreciated

You can try, but it is difficult to do at age 14. I would suggest it past age 12. Work very hard, you may succeed.

Try it. If contact and speed are your positives, it would sure help. If you just can't make the transition, go back to righty.

yes... lefties have better advantages. As a switch hitter you will be more valuable.
