Was I fired from my job?!?
So I've been working at A&F for almost two years and everything has been okay until we got a new manager about three months ago. She had like seven of her "favorites" from another store transfer to ours and she only gives them hours basically. A lot of people who I worked with quit and maybe two or three stayed because they get 'enough' hours. Not as much as the favs but still at least they get some. The thing is that my availability was only for the weekends plus Fridays and I used to get those three days to work. Now that its summer I have the entire week on my availability free to work but now I don't even get call ins! I have literally no hours ever since that manager came here. I asked what was wrong and she said nothing but that my availability sucked which is BS because I changed like a month ago. (plus my old managers didn't care that I could only work for three days and now that I have the whole week I'm not even getting as much as I used to)
So I looked for another job, I got it and it's been three months now and I STILL haven't had any hours at A&F. I had to look for another job but it's turning out the exact same. little pay and little hours. Two weeks ago I went on vacation and I asked for it off and they gave it to me. I come back from vacation and guess what...again, no hours. So today I tried to log into the employee website and it says "Your account has been disabled". WTF? Does that mean I was fired? I didn't do anything! I always showed up for work and was never late! I did miss a call in one time because I got confused with my schedule but that was over a year ago and there are people at my work who NEVER call in and they're fine. (Not that I'm saying its fine to do that lol)
Anyways, honestly I'm scared to face my managers for some reason but what should I say?? Obviously I have to talk to them but I"m really nervous on what to say or how to approach this. And if I was fired from my job how bad will this look if I tried to look for another job? Like I said, I have never had a complaint about how I work, it's just that ever since that manager switched my schedule has gone to sh*t.
Please help :( Ive never had this happen.
ps. The only reason why I kept is because I've gone a month without getting many hours and then like a week later I would get a ton so I thought that this was one of those times.
Thank you :) I have been freaking out about this. And I know this might sound really stupid but...what do I say exactly? Would it be bad if I just never came back? Because I'm assuming that I really was fired so technically I don't have to go back right? I'm confused and frustrated. I don't mean to sound like a whiny brat but this is SO not fair. I got 'fired' because my manager didn't give me any hours for three months even though I've been praised for being responsible by my other 6 managers I've had in the past. Ugh
Also, my friend says that since it looks like ive been terminated than I shouldn't go in because what's done is done. The problem with that is that this was my first and only job where I've been paid. I've worked as day camp counselors but as a volunteer in Hs (I'm still in collegge) and same thing last year. since I worked for A&F for about a year and half (almost two) it would seriously hurt if I didn't put them down in my previous job experience list on resumes....what should I do? I want to apply to more stores but I'm afraid to put down A&F because of what happened. The managers that hired me (the ones who I got along with) are now gone and I haven't been able to find them :p so I guess I can't use them as references....I'm sorry if this is too long but help would be appreciated@ :)

I would call and ask about the disabled account. If they are that lame in no being abe to tell you are fired make them say it. You are not the first person to get fired for the fact that a new jerk becomes the manager and does not like you. If asked why you left your job at A&F just say that a new manger came in with her people from a different store and you were let go.
Don't worry so much about being fired it happens and you did nothing wrong. Or you could find out that your account was disabled for a different reason.

They cannot legally fire you that way...they have to give you notice. If they clocked access to the website that may be the first step they do when they are going to let someone go though.
OR...They may be not giving you hours so that you will quit.

When you get fired from you job, your old employer can not tell them that you were fired it's against the law if they call your references. You should not be scared to face your managers, go in there with confidence and tell them what's on you mind. If they don't like it, they don't deserve to have you.
