Do you think money influences politicians?

Is it fair that multinational corporations can buy our politicians? Or do you think that corporations are spending billions on our politicians because they like them so much?

Do you believe that corporations aren't making an investment in our politicians when they pledge to give $400 million to them?

Update:

What do you think we should do about money in politics?

Update 2:

@StephenG I agree. But Obama has been bought and paid for as well. Look up who his top donors were in 2008 and then look up how many Wall Street execs he has prosecuted.

Yes it does influence politicians and no it is not fair. Corporations are the ones who really run this country. They have the money to hire lobbyists and promise large campaign funds. Even though the majority of the people vote for an elected official, our wants and needs come last compared to what corporations and other politicians want.

  • When billionaires and millionaires can buy elections (Walker - Wisconsin) we, as Americans, are screwed.
