Which would be a bigger match at Wrestlemania : Taker vs Sting or Taker vs Cena+BQ?
In my opinion, these two are WWE's Dream matches against The Undertaker left. The Undertaker had faced anyone in WWE and had beaten them all. There's only one man he had never faced and hadn't beat and that man is John Cena (2003 was Cena as a rookie, that's why I never count that as a real fight between these two). On the other planet, in WCW and TNA, there was a marquee star, well respected Legend who's often compared to The Undertaker and that man is none other than Sting.
So, I'm sure these two would be epic confrontations and will get so many buyrates. These two matches will most likely be the biggest match in WWE History since Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant at Wrestlemania 3 and could surprass 93,173 attendance record.
But, in your opinion, which would be a bigger match between The Undertaker vs Sting or The Undertaker vs John Cena? Reason please.
BQ : If you could only make one of these two matches to ever happen, which one would you make to happen : The Undertaker vs Sting or The Undertaker vs John Cena? Reason please.
BQ2 : Do you believe these two matches could break 93,173 Wrestlemania 3 Hogan vs Andre record? And what other matches do you believe having the potential of breaking that WM 3 record?

I would say John Cena. Mainy because of the fact that The Undertaker, of all his greatness and fame in the WWE, he STILL hasn't beaten even the face of the company, this goes on to tell you, The Undertaker didn't completely "own his yard". There is a guy out there who still walks around Taker's playground and that man is John Cena. Cena is pretty much as symbolic as Taker in the business, all the fans, likers or haters of Cena, pay to see Cena. It doesn't matter if they wanna cheer or boo, they still come to see this great man. In fact, in the past few years, Cena has been one of the most impactful wrestlers in the business. Plus, its been a VERY long time since these two faced head to head in a one-on-one feud against each other. The bottom line is, Cena and Taker are two guys who are VERY similar in their general background of wrestling.
- Both are fan favourite.
- Both have a grapple and a submission finisher.
- Both have had a constant gimmick without any changes for a long time.
- Both are iconic in the business etc.
So putting these two guys against one another would mean a HUGE draw. Not only will it settle it once and for all at Wrestlemania that who is the better man, but if The Undertaker wins, he will truly be able to say that he dominated and came out of WWE as the toughest guy in the business. I mean what have you really proven if you couldn't even take out the face of the company? Nothing much.
I don't see Sting fitting in because even though he had the respect and awe of that of The Undertaker, these two really don't have much to "settle out" between the other. I think both of them are like lone wolves: they mind their own business. So to me, I think it will forever remain a "dream match". What will The Undertaker prove if he beats Sting? That after so many years he was the better man between the two? And what will Sting say? That Taker was "just a shade better"? And what about the ending? What will Taker "prove"? Just showing the world that after all these years The Undertaker was "better" than Sting? C'mon, that won't make much of a match except for the matchup itself. I try to look for relevance in the match, and Taker has no relevance in facing Sting that would affect him in a positive way.
Cena and The Rock alone stole the seats at Wrestlemania 28, hell, imagine what Cena Vs. The Undertaker would bring out of the fans. It would be madness! (in a good way). Another reason why I don't pick Sting is mainly because these WWE fans that comprise of so many "kids" these days, do you really think they have an idea of Sting's legacy in pro wrestling? They'll just think he's a guy from TNA who came to challenge The Deadman. At best they'll think he's some WCW guy.
You can say thats not true and that there are tons of veteran fans who'd like the match, but its a sure fact that WWE is made of kids now, not entirely but in a majority, the kids make up the most, and by kids I mean from 10 upwards till 17 years of age.
So in my opinion, its gotta be Cena, the face of the company Vs. the living legend of the company that will prove to be THE best selling Wrestlemania ever.
BQ: Of course for me it would be John Cena Vs. The Undertaker, as I said before, this match will settle once and for all for the Phenom if he's capable of facing WWE's top guy. A truly Andre Vs. Hogan at Wrestlemania 3 like moment.
BQ2: Definitely, it might reach well over 100K mark and even hopefully surpass it. Its all about the feud and the buildup, if you put two random legends, no matter how good they are, in a match, the crowd that shows up won't be big of a deal, but if planned right, the match CAN indeed be a great hit.
Some potential matches that can sum up crowds like that would be like The Undertaker Vs. Kane, John Cena Vs. CM Punk, a Hell in a Cell match including Triple H and Brock Lesnar etc. something like that, but as I said, its all how the feud is played along.

I have to go against The Dragon on this one (a VERY rare occurrence). I think that The Undertaker vs. John Cena would be the bigger match between the two.
For older fans (and obviously fans with a broader wrestling spectrum than just the WWE), Sting vs. The Undertaker, at Wrestlemania (or anywhere, really) is a dream match. Hell, it's the definition of a dream match. They've always seemed like two guys just on the other side of the looking glass from one another, especially back during the Monday Night Wars. They've both been the respective heart-and-souls of their promotions for...well...decades now. Would WCW, Starrcade or TNA be like they were and are without Sting? Would the WWE and Wrestlemania be anywhere close to what it is without The Undertaker? I don't think so.
But if The Undertaker vs. Sting is a 9.9 on matches I'm dying to see, The Undertaker vs. John Cena is a clean 10. John Cena, today, right now, is a bigger star than either The Undertaker or Sting. He's the biggest, most famous and best draw in the wrestling industry, and has been for some time now. After The Undertaker, Cena IS Wrestlemania for the WWE. He's the guy they build Wrestlemania around. I'm not saying he's the greatest Wrestlemania performer of all time (but I would say he's up there), but he's coming close to Hogan-like-levels in terms of sheer importance to the show.
And don't underestimate Cena's star and drawing power to the casual fan either. Sure, the internet crowd isn't generally aren't fans of his, but to the vast majority of regular fans, John Cena is one of the best of all time, right up there with The Rock, Hogan, Austin and yes, The Undertaker. When you compare the recent Wrestlemania records of Cena and The Undertaker, Cena has faced competition just as good, maybe better, and he's been almost (but not quite) as successful. Both have vanquished DX, and blown apart Evolution (although Cena's victories against Orton came outside of Wrestlemania). They've both defeated Edge, and Cena also owns some impressive wins over The Big Show (especially the first time they fought) and JBL. The Undertaker doesn't have those, or The Rock (although Cena did lose to The Miz, kinda. Ouch).
If The Undertaker against Sting is a dream match for older fans (I would worry that without some serious hype, there are a lot of casual and younger fans today who just wouldn't know much, if anything, about Sting and all he's done. That's just the hard truth), The Undertaker vs. Cena is the ultimate match of today. Everyone, old and young, would buy probably buy Wrestlemania just for that match alone. I know I would (But to be honest I always buy Wrestlemania).
Undertaker/Cena HAS to happen. It has to. They're both too big of stars for it to not happen. The legacy of either guy at Wrestlemania wouldn't be complete if they don't face one another.
BQ: For all the reasons I outlined above, The Undertaker vs. John Cena, no doubt. Cena is my favorite wrestler of all time and The Undertaker is very close to the top as well. Nothing comes close to this match for me.
BQ2: Well, I never fully trust WWE attendance figures but I think both matches (and with a ton of advertising of course) could reach or exceed that record, given the size of the stadium obviously. The WWE being the only game in town today (from a mainstream standpoint at least), an Undertaker Streak match against both guys would be massive. But between the two, I think Undertaker/Cena would be the bigger overall draw.

Definitely Undertaker and Sting, two of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport. Seriously, John Cena vs. Undertaker, please I don't want to be agonized with seeing the 5 moves of doom once again and corny, unentertaining repetitive promos.
BQ: Undertaker vs. Sting- The have worked diligently and given their blood, sweat, and tears into the sport of wrestling; also, both possess great wrestling talent. John Cena is just an overrated, ***-kisser with a stale gimmick that has been outdated for 4 years now who has utterly no talent whatsoever, his opponents always have to make him look good in his match-ups because he is scripted to never lose fairly or put anyone.
BQ2: I believe Undertaker vs. Sting would probably break the record or come very close depending on what kind of arena it is in. I'm hoping one day I could see this spectacular match, it would be one of the greatest of all times.
If you are a John Cena fan, I'm not trying to degrade or make fun of you, but you have to admit if wrestling wasn't scripted Cena couldn't defeat 95% of the current wrestlers in the WWE. The man is just a product created by the WWE executive talent and developmental team to appear as an immortal, unstoppable superman who has to be in the main event spotlight constantly, and in the near future become the World Champion again for another 6 months or year. This is why I dislike Cena. I mean if he was an average in-ring performer than I would give him due credit, but the man only performs 5-6 moves (excluding kicks, blocks, and punches).lol

The younger generation of fans would like to watch Cena compete... But for veterans of the WWE, WCW, TNA, and other brands. Sting and Undertaker would be the best match in all of Undertakers wrestlemania's

I've lost interest in the Undetaker's yearly Mania match. Why the WWE expects us to eat this up every year is beyond me. Yes Taker has had some great matches over the years but with a guaranteed win there's little to be excited over. Especially if it was only to bring Sting to the WWE to squash him.

The Undertaker Vs John Cena would be more bigger.
BQ- John Cena, because he has accomplished more then anything

Sting and Taker and as far as breaking the attendance record, Austin vs Punk at Cowboys Stadium could do it.

Taker vs Sting would be the bigger match, mostly because nobody thinks it will ever happen.
The WWE did that idiotic "invasion" angle after WCW closed down but Vince just made WCW and ECW look very bad in that angle, like they were second-rate "rasslin" companies and Vince needed to put WWE wrestlers on WCW's side just to make it competitive. Pffftt! Vince blew that one. It could have been possibly the greatest feud in wrestling history (WCW wrestlers vs WWE wrestlers in the ring) but Vince's ego wouldn't allow him to let WCW look good in any way. The WWE eventually got every big star WCW had, except for WCW's "franchise" and biggest star, Sting. Because of that (Sting never signing with the WWE) fans have been speculating how feuds with Sting vs various WWE stars would go. Sting vs Taker has always topped that list. It's the one match everybody wants but nobody believes we'll ever get.
Cena works for the WWE and they could put a Cena vs Taker match anywhere they want. It would still be huge but it's not the pipe dream (impossibility) everybody thinks Taker vs Sting is. Generally, when people are told they can't have something they want, it just makes them want it more.
If the WWE DID have a Taker vs Sting match, everybody would believe it really IS a one time thing and will never happen again. And nobody would want to miss it. Taker vs Cena would be huge. Taker vs Sting would be bigger. It would be like a WWE vs WCW wrestling feud all rolled up into one match.
BQ: As much as I want Taker vs Sting, Taker vs Cena would be better for the WWE in the long run. Taker vs Sting would be a one-time thing and Sting has no impact at all on WWE storylines and feuds. It would be like the Cena vs Rock match at WM28. An historic match but one that had no other impact on the WWE. Rock wasn't involved with anybody else and had no effect on any other storyline or feud. Rock boosted ticket sales (and PPV buys) for one show. Then he was gone. It would be the same with Sting. If Sting were to beat Taker he couldn't go back to TNA and brag about it; the WWE wouldn't allow it. If Taker wins he couldn't brag about it, either; TNA wouldn't allow it. We'd get one historic match that neither company could talk about after the show was over. But Taker vs Cena, if Cena wins, the WWE could get a lot of mileage out of it. It could make Cena's reputation even bigger, or make him so hated the WWE might even be forced to replace him. If Taker beats Cena, Taker becomes "immortal" like Hogan and becomes an even bigger legend. The WWE can talk about it (either one winning) all they want. So Taker vs Cena is better for the long-term for the WWE and the match I'd make if I were in charge.
BQ2: Taker vs Sting could, easily. WWE AND TNA fans would want to see it. Old school WCW fans probably would, as well. Taker vs Cena probably could, too. The WWE's been withholding this match for a reason, maybe as Taker's retirement match, I don't know. But yeah, they could build the hype for this match to the point it could outsell Hogan vs Andre.
The only other match-up I believe could possibly outsell Hogan vs Andre today would be Sting vs The Rock in another "WCW vs WWE" type of match-up.
There is an outside chance Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle in a shoot match might sell as well as, or outsell, Hogan vs Andre. That's another match-up fans have speculated about for years. Who would win in a real fight?
