My favorite poets are Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath, Edgar Allen Poe, and Billy Collins
Some of my favorite poems are,
Nostalgia by Billy Collins (It makes me feel "thoughtful" and takes me back to the past)
Wind by Ted Hughes (I love his unique writing style)
The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe (Something about this poem just draws me to it. It's like a short story, but with such eloquent language. It's simply amazing.)
The Human Touch by Spencer Michael Free (It's short, but sweet. It means a lot to me from a personal experience with my half-brother. It gives me both a "warm and fuzzy" nostalgic feeling, and a sort of aching sadness.)
Solitude by Lewis Carroll (It feels like the solitude he describes is somewhere I just long to be. It sets a perfect mood.)
And Hold Me by Anonymous... (http://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poem/hold-me-im-f... When I was 10 and going through a rough time, it was my release. It's not fluently written or anything, but I read it almost religiously that year.)
