The door to my Chevrolet Suburban won't unlock with the key. Why?
The key fob remote works fine, but when I insert the key to unlock the door, it turns completely but the door won't unlock. The only way to unlock the door is with the fob. I need the key to work because it is a backup key for a spouse who has no fob.

I certainly understand your concern with this issue. If you're not able to resolve this, a GM Certified Technician should be well-equipped to do so.
