Eee Pad Transformer or Galaxy Tab?

Hi guys,

After debating with the other half, we have decided that a tablet would be quite useful as we travel together a lot and it would be good to watch moves, play games and listen to music on. But, I also need to be able to take it to uni with me to make notes. Now I already have a good laptop, but it's too big and heavy to carry around with me all day. So I'd like a tablet that has good battery life and a good screen etc, but most importantly I need a keyboard for some light note making (nothing major as I'll use my laptop for that) and I need to it to be easy to read my textbooks on (I have a kindle for that currently but I'm selling it as I need something with a word processor on it).

Now I know that there are keyboards for both of these tablets, but the desktop dock for the galaxy tab isn't portable, so would a bluetooth keyboard case work anywhere near as well? Also, I quite like the size of the 7" Tab as an E-reader, but would the 10.1" screen be much better to type on?

Overall, which do you think is a better tablet?

Thanks :)

Update:

Oh and just for details - The 7" Galaxy tab is also cheaper than both the other 2 but I have been offered the 10.1" Galaxy and the Asus at a similar price so if it's between those 2 then price isn't the deciding factor

My tablet is a $150 hacked nook color, but if i were going for a high quality bigger tablet i would go for the Eee pad transformer prime.
