Should I join the navy/army?
My life has just been terrible for the past few years, il most likely not get a good job, I don't have that good of an education, and I don't really like my family neither do they like me. The only person who actually cared about me was my father, but he died 4 years ago. I dont have that much knowledge on guns, war, etc, etc. This is kinda like my last resort. Please give me any tips if I should join, or things i should know about being in the armed forces. Thanks..

Join the Air Force it's more like a corporation ,there's lot's of different interesting jobs that don't put you directly in harms way, unless you want to.Pretty fast advancement .Navy can be good for you as well. Good luck

I am sorry for your loss. But joining the armed forces can present alot of opportunities when your out. Pension, respect, honor, jobs, etc. I am planning on joining the armed forces as soon as i can as Medic (not sure what branch) i reccomend Air force as they present some of the best opportunities.

So you wanna join something where you could possable see friends die, and are treated kinda like poop to "make you srong" and are uprooted every 2-3years... Because your depressed about civilian life.. Not a very good reason to join..
Source(s): Joining the military should never be a "last resort" it's alot harder then the civilian 9-5 both mentally and Physicaly, people who join as a "last resort" are the ones who get discharged for depression or kicked out do behavior and they just ending up wasting everyone else's that actualy wants to be there s time and efforts. Not to mentiOn lethargy and such can get someone (you or another person) killed
