Should I be offended if my friend that is Mexican & I being White?

Walk into a room with another American Mexican, and she talks in their language, leaving me out of the conversation. They both speak very good English.

I just feel that if we are friends and everyone in the room speaks English, that she is dis-respecting me.

I have Hispanic in my family and the only time it is used is when one does not know English.

Update:

@Fatal, that's fine, but these people have been speaking English for years. Their facebook, etc. is even English.

This is so familiar. I have a Hispanic friend and she does exactly the same thing. Sometimes she will speak Spanish to one of her Spanish-speaking friends and they will actually answer her in English in front of me because it IS rude. So I just told her if both parties speak English when I'm right there please at least translate. Her point was there are not many people she can speak Spanish with so when she has the opportunity she takes it. But I asked her how would you feel if the tables were turned and I sat for half an hour saying things you don't understand? So now if she speaks Spanish at least she translates for me and that's what you need to do, let your feelings be known about the subject and probably your friend will see how rude it really is.

I think your feelings are justified. If they continued for more than an introduction.
