Pumping at work in California?
So, I was just reading into California's laws about nursing or pumping at work. I was confused about one thing. "An employer is not required to provide unpaid break time if to do so would seriously disrupt the operations." What does this mean?
And what if there is no place to provide any privacy?
I work at Starbucks and there is no "extra office" in our back room. And I've been pumping back there and there's always people walking back and forth to grab cups and other things. I just feel extremely uneasy pumping there. Any advice? Thanks!

they have to provide a private location for you. that's up to them to figure out. tell them it's the law. and it specifies private location OTHER THAN BATHROOM.
